Another hot day, light smoke and chance for t-storms

Happy Monday! Central Oregon is seeing another hot day across the High Desert, with temperatures topping out in the upper 90's.

There will be a light haze to start the day due to wildfires, and clouds will thicken this evening as we gear up for Tuesday thunderstorms. We have a 30 percent chance for thunderstorms Tuesday day, and by evening it will drop to a 20 percent chance for showers.

Deschutes county will see mid to upper 90's today, specifically today our high will be 97. Jefferson/ Wasco County will be topping out in the low 100 degree temperature range and upper 90's, and thats similar to the temperature highs for Crook county as well.

We'll be partly cloudy this evening as clouds thicken for potential rain showers, expect calm winds ranging from 0-5 miles per hour as high as 15 mph today.
