Here is the latest Washington, Oregon and Alaska sports news from The Associated Press

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Rashaad Penny ran for a career-best 129 yards, including a 58-yard touchdown, Russell Wilson threw one TD pass and the Seattle Seahawks beat the Philadelphia Eagles 17-9. Missing their top three wide receivers, leading rusher and two Pro Bowl offensive linemen, the Eagles couldn’t do much on offense and hurt themselves with three turnovers inside Seattle territory and another near midfield.

UNDATED (AP) — No. 2 Ohio State gained some ground on No. 1 LSU in The Associated Press college football poll and Oregon dropped out of the top 10 after being upset by Arizona State. The Tigers remained No. 1 for the fifth straight week in the AP Top 25 presented by Regions Bank, receiving 50 first-places votes. The Buckeyes got nine first-place votes after beating Penn State. Oregon dropped eight spots to No. 14. That allowed Utah to move up a spot to No. 6 and Oklahoma to No. 7.

SEATTLE (AP) — Isaiah Stewart had 25 points and seven rebounds, Jaden McDaniels scored 20 and No. 25 Washington beat San Diego 88-69. The touted freshmen combined to score 10 points to start a game-clinching run early in the second half as Washington won its third straight.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Satou Sabally scored 23 points in her first game of the season, Sabrina Ionescu and Erin Boley each added 19, and top-ranked Oregon defeated No. 17 Syracuse 81-64. It was the first real test of the season for both teams and the first road game for the Ducks (4-0).
