CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Tres Tinkle scored 26 points to lead Oregon State to an 81-76 victory over Portland State. It was the fifth straight victory for the Beavers (7-1), who have defeated Portland State (3-5) in all 14 matchups between the schools.

SEATTLE (AP) — Russell Wilson and Kirk Cousins have been connected all the way back to college. They’ll renew their connection on Monday night when the Seattle Seahawks host the Minnesota Vikings in an important matchup in the NFC playoff picture. Cousins and Wilson have been two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL this season. Cousins leads the NFL in passer rating; Wilson is second. Wilson has 24 TD passes while Cousins has 21 and both have thrown just three interceptions.

ESTERO, Fla. (AP) — Melody Kempton had a career-high 18 points, LeeAnne Wirth and Jessie Loera each scored 12, and No. 22 Gonzaga beat Purdue 63-50 to win the Gulf Coast Showcase. Kempton made 7 of 12 from the field and 4 of 5 from the free-throw line.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Malcolm Porter posted 15 points as Portland defeated Incarnate Word 65-56. JoJo Walker had 15 points for Portland (6-1), which earned its fifth straight win.
