Redmond couple’s Leap Day proposal echoes Irish folklore
A Redmond couple took part in an interesting bit of Irish folklore on Leap Day, known in that country also as 'Bachelor's Day' -- the one day a year women are expected to propose marriage to men. Katie Brown decided to pop the question to Corey Spurlock, with some help from Saxon's Fine Jewelers in Bend's Old Mill.
