Sunday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Good evening Central Oregon and happy Sunday!

A warmer day for us today across the high desert, and those smoky and hazy conditions have once again returned to the region.

It looks like this trend of hot weather and haze is going to stick with us through much of the upcoming work week.

Today highs were in the mid to upper 80s and low 90s for the high desert.

We are going to stay relatively warm tonight with our overnight lows in the 40s to 50s.

Tomorrow is when we really start to warm up put there though, with highs in the mid 90s.

Things are really going to heat up as the week goes on as we hit triple digits by Wednesday and with those hot conditions, we are going to see an excessive heat warning in place starting Wednesday morning through Thursday night.

There is some relief in sight as we look to get back down into the 80s by next weekend.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend Central Oregon!
