Local Alert Weather, Mon. AM, 8.20.18

KTVZ

Good Monday Morning, Everyone…
As storm activity is forced off to the NE we will be left with fairly clear skies, but a smoky haze will linger over the region for much of the day. Highs will be in the mid 80’s and a modest amount of moisture rotating in over warm temps will give us a very slight chance of PM thunderstorms. Winds will be out of the north at 10-20 mph. Skies will be partly cloudy tonight with lows in the mid 40’s to low 50’s. Westerly winds will become lighter after midnight.
Despite fairly clear skies for the next few days that smoky haze is expected to stay with us. Highs for the rest of the week will be in the mid to upper 80’s for most. Overnight lows will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s. From Friday through the coming weekend we can expect fairly sunny, but cooler conditions. Highs will be in the low 80’s and lows will dip into the 40’s.
