Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer meeting with businesses and CASA in Bend; we also speak with challenger Janelle Bynum

Matthew Draxton will share his report on NewsChannel 21 at Five

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Rep. Lori Chavez DeRemer is scheduled to meet Wednesday with local businesses and community leaders at the Bend Chamber to learn more about their priorities and challenges they are facing.

She'll also be meeting with CASA of Central Oregon to be apart of a panel discussion highlighting the role court-appointed special advocates play in helping foster children in the Central Oregon community.

Matthew Draxton will be meeting with Chavez-DeRemer to discuss how she will implement what she's learned into her campaign and future legislation. He's also speaking with a business leader as well as a CASA volunteer to discuss the events.

Draxton also is speaking to state Rep. Janelle Bynum, Chavez-DeRemer's election challenger, about what her own campaign plans in Central Oregon.
