Planned Redmond road closures and delays – May 24-30

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- City of Redmond road closures can be viewed on the Redmond Area Street Closures, Events and Delays Map and ODOT TripCheck.

**NEW CLOSURES:

• NW Hemlock Ave from NW 19^th St to NW 23^rd St – Closed for construction from Wednesday, May 27 thru Friday, September 4, 2020.  NW Hemlock Ave will be closed from NW 19^th St to NW 23^rd St while McKenzie Cascade Heavy Excavation constructs a new waterline and completes street improvements. Please use detours or an alternate route.

• S Canal Blvd from SW Badger Ave to SW Heights Ave – Single lane closures from Wednesday, May 27 thru Monday, August 31, 2020.  S Canal will experience single lane closures from SW Badger Ave to SW Heights Ave from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily while McKernan Enterprises constructs a new waterline and street improvements. Local access will be maintained. Please use caution and follow traffic control devices.

• SW Highland Ave at SW 15^th St – Traffic signal replacement on Tuesday, May 26. The City and ODOT will be installing new traffic signal controllers at SW Highland Ave at SW 15^th St on Tuesday, May 26. Motorists should expect delays during the changeover and treat flashing red lights as 4-way stops.

• SW Highland Ave at SW 9^th St – Traffic Signal replacement on Wednesday, May 27. The City and ODOT will be installing new traffic signal controllers at SW Highland Ave at SW 9^th St on Wednesday, May 27. Motorists should expect delays during the changeover and treat flashing red lights as 4-way stops.

ONGOING CLOSURES:

• SW Obsidian Ave from SW 35^th St to SW Helmholtz Way – Closed for construction thru Friday, July 3, 2020.

• NW 6^th St at NW Quince Ave – Single northbound lane closed for construction thru Friday, May 29, 2020.

CITY MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS:

• SW Salmon Ave from S Canal Blvd to SW 36^th Ct - Temporary single lane closures for crack sealing operations beginning on Tuesday, May 26 thru Friday, May 30 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. Please use caution in the area and follow traffic control devices.

• SW 6^th St from SW Deschutes Ave to SW Forest Ave - Temporary single lane closures for crosswalk painting and thermoplastic installation beginning on Tuesday, May 26 thru Friday, May 30 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. Please use caution in the area and follow traffic control devices.

• Crack seal operations will be commencing throughout the City; activities may temporarily disrupt lanes and intersections.

• ADA Street Improvement projects and curb ramp enhancements will be occurring at local intersections; activities may temporarily disrupt lanes and intersections. 

NOTE - During street maintenance operations, closure durations and disruptions are determined by progress of the operation and weather conditions.
