Sunriver frog meeting canceled due to shutdown

KTVZ

A public informational meeting about the Oregon spotted frog, organized by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, scheduled for Tuesday, October 8 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic and Recreation Center is cancelled.

The federal government is closed as current funding expired on September 30. Due to this event, the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Office and all its field offices (Bend, La Grande, Newport, and Roseburg) are closed to the public. While a lapse in appropriations remains in effect, fish and wildlife management activities and public programs are cancelled.
