HSCO ‘Howl-o-ween’ pet costume contest
The Humane Society of Central Oregon is inviting companion animals to enjoy the ghastly delights of Halloween. Unleash your creativity and “trick”out your four-legged friend in a costume that will take top prize in HSCO’s pet costume contest on Thursday, October 31 st at the Old Mill District near Greg’s Grill (520 SW Powerhouse Drive in Bend).
The Old Mill District Halloween Party is from 4:00 to 7:00pm. HSCO will provide treats for pets and fun activities for children.
Unleash your imagination and create or buy a costume for any companion animal. Contest is not limited to dogs and cats and there is no entry fee. Dress up your bearded dragon or rabbit and surprise the judges. Prizes will be given to the top entries.
Capture the moment in a photograph by ChristiG Photography for a suggested donation of $5. There is no fee to enter the pet costume contest. Grand prize winner will receive a $150 photo session at ChristiG Photography.
Pet costume entries accepted from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Photos will be taken of entrants and the winner announced November 1 st . Make sure pet costume is comfortable and the animal can move freely and see. For more information visit www.hsco.org or call 541.330.7096.
