Ghost Tree Invitational aids local charities
Combined Communications Inc. is pleased to report that the 2013 Ghost Tree Invitational donated $15,000 to the Assistance League of Bend and $40,000 to the Bend Ronald McDonald House.
Ghost Tree Invitational is a 501(c)3 public non-profit organization run by Combined Communication Inc. The event was held August 23 and 24 of this year at Sunriver Resort.
“The Ghost Tree Invitational is entirely put on by volunteers with a passion for supporting the local community in a direct, meaningful way,” says Christine Limburg, event director. “Our mission is to invest in organizations serving children and families in Central Oregon. Our goal is to raise funds and then donate those funds to local charities with the infrastructure in place to aid Central Oregonians in need.”
Kristy Krugh, executive director of Ronald McDonald House, comments, “We are honored to have had the opportunity to partner with the Ghost Tree Invitational and Combined Communications this year. The incredible gift we received will provide 354 nights lodging or an average stay for 30 local families who must travel to Bend seeking medical care for their ill or injured child. This gift will make a significant difference at the Bend Ronald McDonald House® and in the lives of local children and families and we are so grateful!”
Combined Communications is also pleased to announce a new title sponsor for next year’s event. Pacwest Homes. “We are thrilled to partner with Pacwest Homes to produce the 2014 Ghost Tree Invitational. The event just gets better each year, and Pacwest’s support will help us continue to grow and donate much needed funds to local charities.”
Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Oregon is working to better the lives of children and their families whether they live or travel through our communities, by creating, finding and supporting programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children.
