Winter forest road closures begin

KTVZ

Forest Road 370 on the Bend-Ft. Rock and Sisters ranger districts of the Deschutes National Forest is now closed for the season and will not reopen until weather conditions allow in the spring.

The road is gated from Road 16 in the Three Creek Lake area of the Sisters Ranger District to the Todd Lake Trailhead, off of the Cascade Lakes Highway, on the Bend-Ft. Rock Ranger District.

Additionally, the Paulina Peak Road (Forest Road 500) within the Newberry Monument is also closed for the winter season and will reopen as snow conditions allow.
