KTVZ

The City of Redmond Transportation Division will be restricting traffic in three separate locations this week:

On Thursday, August 20 th crews will be applying chip seal, a surface treatment to extend the lifespan of asphalt in two locations. On Canal Blvd. from Timber Avenue to the Yew Ave/27 th St round-a-bout and another on Obsidian Avenue from Helmholtz Way to just west of 35 th St. Traffic will be allowed through with flaggers on site controlling traffic, expect minor delays.

The annual International Soap Box Derby will be held this Saturday through Sunday (August 22 nd & 23 rd ). This will require a closure of Wickiup Avenue from 31 st St. to 28 th Ct. from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days. This stretch of road is the best racing hill in town.

The City appreciates your patience as we improve the roads and host special events. Below are maps of the restrictions.
