Sparks Lake recreation area reopens
Access to the Sparks Lake area is reopened with the completion of a traffic bypass, which had closed access to the area.
Construction of the bypass was needed to allow single lane traffic access into the Sparks Lake area while a bridge is constructed over Soda Creek. The installation of the Soda Creek Bridge is expected to continue through mid-October and the public will experience traffic delays between Mt. Bachelor and Devil’s Lake during that construction period.
