Local Alert Weather 0130 PM

KTVZ

Hello everyone!

Another day with above average temperatures. Daytime highs were in the upper 40’s to lower 50’s. It was a very cloudy day. Throughout the evening ahead skies will begin to break up just a little bit. Temperatures will become fairly chilly and cold tonight. Overnight lows will be below freezing in the mid to upper 20’s.

You may have heard of the Super Blue Blood Moon that’s occurring tonight. Chance of seeing it are slim. We’ll remain partly cloudy throughout most of the night ahead. At times we could be mostly cloudy. The partial eclipse happens between 3 to 7 in the morning. The full eclipse is best seen between 4 to 6. We’ll be able to tell where the moon is since it’ll be so bright and large in the sky. It’ll be able to shine through the clouds, but chances of seeing the moon turn red could be slim.

The rest of our Wednesday will be fairly cloudy especially by the evening hours. Skies will become overcast. Temperatures tomorrow will be back in the mid 40’s to even low 50’s. Overnight there’s a slight chance of mixed showers. That will last throughout Thursday morning. For the most part these showers will be light and scattered. The rest of Thursday will be dry with temperatures warming into the lower 50’s.

A warm front will continue to push back into the region throughout the weekend. Temperatures will continue to rise into the lower 60’s. Skies will remain cloudy throughout the rest of the week as well.
