Thief tries to drive off in stolen truck, owner catches them

OMAHA, NE (KPTM) — It has been quite the morning for one member of the Omaha metro.
Omaha Police, via a Twitter post, stated someone tried to steal a pickup Thursday morning.
The truck was in the area of 99th and Fort Streets near Grandridge Apartments.
According to police, the owner of the truck came outside to see their pickup driving away.
The pickup owner then jumps in the back of their truck.
Police say the thief ran off.
No one was injured from the incident, police say.
