Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley continues 2026 town hall series at Sisters High School in April

SISTERS, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley will host a town hall meeting in Sisters on Saturday, April 4th, 2026. The gathering at Sisters High School marks the 34th town hall the Oregon senator has held this year; this will be Merkley's 646th open town hall since he was first elected to the U.S. Senate.

The event is open to all Deschutes County residents and focuses on discussing ideas to strengthen both the state and the nation.

The town hall is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. in the Sisters High School gymnasium. The school is located at 1700 McKinney Butte Rd., Sisters, OR 97759. No RSVP is required for community members to attend the public forum.

Senator Merkley emphasized the importance of community input during these scheduled sessions. "I invite all Deschutes County community members to come and discuss ideas to strengthen our state and our nation," Merkley said.

The senator's office also highlighted a commitment to accessibility for the event. Merkley stated that his office is committed to "diversity, inclusion and fostering full participation for all." Participants who have specific access needs or require disability-related accommodations are encouraged to contact the senator's staff.
