Redline Rally returns to Mt. Bachelor on August 29

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Mt. Bachelor will host its sixth annual Redline Rally this Saturday, Aug. 29. The invite-only mountain bike competition showcases riders ranging from local youth competitors to seasoned professionals.

Named after the resort's Redline jump trail, the event brings together local and regional mountain bikers alongside professional athletes. Competitors will perform tricks across designated trail features in front of spectators and a judging panel.

Spectators can view the competition at the Moon Booter, which serves as the trail's largest feature. Featured professional athletes and Mt. Bachelor team members scheduled to participate include Carson Storch, Austin Hemperly, Sage Cattabriga-Alosa and Arlie Connolly.

A panel of judges will score the competitors across multiple categories, awarding prizes for best whip, style and overall trick. Individual honors will also be presented, with one woman earning the title of GRL Boss and one youth rider earning the title of Grom Champ.
