Cooler night ahead

Happy Wednesday, Central Oregon!

Our skies will be clear after a front passes, and they will help our lows to drop to or a little below freezing Wednesday night.

Northwest winds in the evening will become light out of the west after midnight.

With plenty of sunshine, we'll see a warming trend that will have us in the upper 60s Thursday and upper 70s Friday.

Skies will stay sunny Saturday and highs will reach the low 80s.

Then we become partly cloudy Sunday, with highs around 80.

The next system will push into the Northwest beginning Monday.

We will also see highs cooling into the mid 60s, something a little more normal for this time of year, by Tuesday.
