Partly cloudy & warmer

Happy Tuesday, Central Oregon!

Skies will stay partly cloudy Tuesday night as lows dip into the 40s.

Winds will become light and variable later this evening and stay there through the night.

Wednesday promises to be the warmest day of the week, as highs push to 80 degrees under sunny skies.

Highs Thursday will be in the mid to upper 70s, but moisture moving in over this daytime heating will deliver a slight chance of scattered showers and a thunderstorm or two.

As this next system moves in, it will increase the chance of rain Thursday night and into Friday.

Highs will be close to 70 degrees Friday, and we can expect a chance of thunderstorms to mix with the rain.

Saturday will be the coolest day, with highs in the low 60's.

We will cling to a chance of showers into next week, with highs again around 70.
