Sunny & warm; some smoke

-GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING, EVERYONE...

High pressure will keep our skies cloud-free, but a gentle northerly air flow and a modest inversion layer will keep a smoky haze in the air. Highs will warm into the mid to upper 80's. Light and variable breezes will calm this evening and stay calm tonight. Lows tonight will be in the mid 30's to mid 40's. Skies will stay clear, but the inversion will strengthen a bit, leaving us with a smoky haze much of the night.

Thursday will be a repeat of today, with sunny, warm and hazy conditions. We will see a few scattered clouds going into the weekend, along with a modest cooling trend that will have us in the upper 70's by Sunday, still above normal for this time of year. Mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70's to low 80's will carry us into the new work week.
