Air quality issues, staying warm today

Good morning!

We are still dealing with areas of prescribed burn smoke which has resulted in poor air quality. Bend, Redmond and Sunriver dropped back into hazardous levels overnight.

Conditions should improve as the sun comes up and temperatures start to rise.

Thursday's highs will be about 10 degrees above normal today reaching the mid 70s to 80s. The region will remain sunny and dry. Winds will be breezy.

We have a clear night ahead of us with temperatures dropping mainly into the 40s.

A new system will approach Thursday night which could lead to some very light precipitation in the Cascades. The majority of the region will stay dry.

Temperatures will drop as we wrap up the work week bringing us near normal for our highs. Tomorrow we'll be dropping back to the mid 60s.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
