Local Alert Weather – Saturday
Happy Saturday, everyone!
Saturday morning begins with above average temperatures, but it will feel chilly. Daytime highs do not warm up much from there. We’ll top out in the mid to upper 50s, which is more than 10 degrees below average and will feel cold.
Off and on showers are on the way for Saturday as the steady showers moved through some areas overnight. If you are heading over the passes just know you’ll likely encounter a rain/snow mix as snow levels will be low and temperatures will hover in the 30s.
Breezy conditions and a mixed bag of clouds are in store for Saturday. Winds will gust around 25 miles per hour as the cold front passes through the region. Clouds will vary between mostly cloudy to partly cloudy. We have a chance for a few thunderstorms on Saturday on the High Desert as well.
Cover up your outdoor plants overnight into Sunday. Lows will be in the upper 20s and lower 30s for many areas. Clouds will be mostly cloudy to partly cloudy overnight.
Sunday’s highs will be slightly warmer in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Shower chances are much better for Saturday than they are for Sunday. We’ll see mostly cloudy skies turning partly cloudy by the end of the day.
The beginning of next week sees highs getting back into the upper 60s and lower 70s with partly cloudy skies. The middle of the week will peak into the upper 70s and lower 80s with mostly sunny skies.
Have a happy & safe weekend!
