Bend sets open house for Phase 2 of 14th Street project

The city of Bend is holding an open house to discuss upcoming reconstruction of the 14th Street corridor between Albany Avenue and Galveston Avenue, Phase 2 of the overall project.

City staff and project consultants from DOWL will be available to describe the elements of the project, including what may be expected during construction and how access to the area might be impacted.

Open House: Monday, August 6, 5:30 – 7 p.m., at

Westside Village Magnet School, 1101 NW 12 th Street, (outside)

Construction will begin between Albany and Galveston avenues starting August 6, followed by a closure of the southbound travel lane approximately two weeks later and a full closure starting Sept. 4 and lasting for approximately two months.
