Happy Thursday evening, everyone!

Winds will stay gusty topping 30 to 35 miles per hour through the end of the evening. After sunset we’ll see blustery winds, but they won’t be too strong. Expect some hazy skies, but mostly sunny conditons heading into the overnight.

Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 30s with clear skies. Tomorrow morning will be off to a cool start, but we’ll quickly warm. Daytime highs for Friday will be in the mid to upper 70s and lower 80s. Winds will be much more calm, but know Fire Danger is still increased due to dry conditions and warm temperatures.

The weekend ahead looks calm and dry as well. Temperatures will be around 20 degrees above normal for this time of year. We’ll look to see mid 80s for Saturday and Sunday under mostly sunny skies.

Mother’s Day sees increasing clouds throughout the afternoon and evening. Winds will be a little blustery in the second half of the day.

By Monday highs will begin to fall to average. Highs will still be above average; however, in the mid to upper 70s. Clouds roll in through the beginning of next week as well. Winds will gust around 15 miles per hour.

Chances for rain showers making a return to the High Desert pick up Tuesday night into Wednesday. Wednesday will likely see some rain showers to begin the day. Highs will be around average in the mid to upper 60s.
