Seasonal temperatures into this week

We’ll start the week with temperatures just around 80 degrees across the region. This is right about where we should be for this time of year and this pattern is expected to stay with us for the first half of this upcoming work week. We’ll start to see a heat up with Independence Day and by Fourth of July weekend, we’ll be in the 90’s. We will be dry and hot so practice fire safety and stay hydrated next weekend.

The Darlene 3 Fire is more than halfway contained now. We will be a bit breezier today and tomorrow, but nothing overwhelming or concerning. La Pine and Southern Deschutes County should see wind patterns similar to what we’ve seen the last couple days. Winds should generally be from the North and West during the afternoon.

Clouds for our region will remain overhead today, but we should see a bit more sunshine than yesterday. The clouds will be clearing out tonight and tomorrow. Sunny skies are expected to fully make their return by Tuesday.

Have a great day!
