Rain clears, sunshine returns tomorrow

Happy Saturday!

We started the weekend with some light to moderate rain, but those showers have cleared out this afternoon.

You’ve probably noticed a big drop in temperatures as highs today are only reaching the 50s. Quite the change from the low 80s we saw on Thursday and Friday.

Minor flooding is possible today as warmer temperatures combine with recent rainfall to accelerate snowmelt. Creeks and streams are expected to run fast and full.

Clouds are clearing out overnight making way for sunny skies tomorrow morning. Lows will be below freezing, dropping to the 20s and 30s.

Dry and mild conditions are expected on Sunday. Highs will reach the low 60s, which is normal for early May. The wind will be noticeable at times with gusts near 25mph.

High pressure building over the eastern North Pacific will help keep the region dry. We'll be a bit warmer on Monday, with highs climbing to the upper 60s. Expect sunny skies along with breezy winds.

Temperatures will continue to rise over the next few days, returning to the 80s by midweek.

Enjoy your weekend!
