Furry Friends: Ramona the raspy-voiced kitty

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- This week's Furry Friend is Ramona, a 5-year-old grey shorthair cat who absolutely loves people and attention!

Ramona was one of 17 cats rescued from a home in Terrebonne and is looking for her forever home at Brightside Animal Center in Redmond.

"She's super friendly. She loves attention. She's going to love to be in a home where her people are with her, giving her attention," said Paige Kidd, the development and volunteer manager at Brightside. "She will make a great companion for someone."

Ramona has lasting respiratory issues following her rescue. She has a bit of a raspy voice but is otherwise in great shape--plus, it adds character!

Now through July 19th, all cats and dogs at Brightside have had their adoption rates reduced by 50% in an effort to clear the shelter after 17 cats and 18 dogs were recently rescued from the Terrebonne home.
