Costco breaks ground on new car wash in Central Oregon

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – Costco has begun construction on a new car wash facility in Central Oregon. The facility is located on the north side of the new warehouse property near the retailer's first regional gas station.

The car wash will be owned and operated by Costco. While city documents show the project was briefly put on hold, construction resumed at the start of the new year.

The construction site is situated in a lot near the gas station on the north side of the warehouse property.

The development follows the recent opening of the first Costco gas station in Central Oregon, an addition that was recently introduced to the area. Public records from the city indicate that development on the car wash facility was temporarily paused. Following the brief hold, work on the site started again in the new year.
