Beats and Buckets brings 3-on-3 basketball tournament to Bend

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ)-- While the high school basketball season ended in the winter, local players will soon have another opportunity to get back on the court.

The inaugural Beats and Buckets event is coming to the Boys & Girls Club of Bend from June 26-28, combining competitive basketball with live music from local DJs.

The three-day event will feature a 3-on-3 basketball tournament with four divisions, ranging from middle school players to adults. Before tournament play begins, participants can test their skills in a 3-point contest and free throw contest on June 26.

In addition to the basketball action, several Central Oregon DJs will provide entertainment throughout the event, including Aaron Chambers, creating a festival-like atmosphere for players and spectators alike.

The event aims to bring the community together through basketball, music and friendly competition while giving athletes another chance to showcase their skills during the summer months.
