Five Bend junior Nordic ski racers qualify for nationals
Five Nordic ski racers from the Bend Endurance Academy have qualified for the Nordic Junior National Championships to be held in Truckee, CA March 8th – 14 th .
In order to qualify for the national-level event, racers needed to post qualifying times in five out of eight sanctioned races.
Sam Biskup (Male U16), Alex Heisler (Female U16) Maya Seckinger (Female U18), Tom Schoderbek (Male U18), and Teddy Widmer (Male U18) have all accumulated five qualifying races and will make the trip to the Junior National Championships next month.
In this past weekends Super Junior National Qualifier at the famed Soldier Hollow ski center in Midway, UT the five skiers posted top ten finishes amongst the most competitive field the racers will see outside of Nationals.
