Federal jury convicts Wilsonville man for possessing and transporting child sexual abuse material

PORTLAND, Ore.(KTVZ) -- A federal jury in Portland found a Wilsonville, Oregon man, guilty, Friday, for possessing and transporting photos and videos depicting child sexual abuse.

Joshan Rohani, was convicted of one count each, of accessing with the intent to view, and possessing child pornography, as well as three counts of transporting child pornography.

According to court documents, in 2021, authorities found that 40-year old, Rohani, had created a Mega chatroom titled “Trade links,” where members can post content containing child pornography.

Rohani faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and a lifetime term of supervised release, for each count.

He will be sentenced on June 2, 2025, before U.S. District Court Judge Karin J. Immergut.
