Decision 2026: Voter Pamphlets Mailed to Registered Voters in Oregon, Here’s what you need to know

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Voter pamphlets for the upcoming midterm elections have been mailed out and are expected to arrive in voters' mailboxes by the end of the week.

The pamphlets provide information on candidates along with arguments for and against ballot measures.

Most candidates are expected to have statements in the pamphlet, though the absence of a statement does not mean a candidate was intentionally excluded from the booklet or the ballot

Deschutes County Clerk Steve Dennison explained: “A candidate statement is not required for the voters pamphlet. That it's up to the each candidate whether they want to put a statement in the pamphlet or not,” Dennison said. “And they paid they paid to have that statement in there.”

Voters who do not receive a pamphlet within a week or who lose their copy have options to obtain a replacement.

Spare pamphlets will be available for pickup at the county clerk's office and local post offices.

The deadline to register to vote is Oct. 13.

Ballots are scheduled to be mailed out to voters on Oct. 14.
