Warming up today, dry and sunny through the weekend

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Clear skies overnight are allowing temperatures to drop quickly, leading to chilly mornings. We will warm up nicely as we head into the afternoon.

High pressure is building into Oregon today, bringing a warm up with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. That’s above our typical late March average in the mid 50s.

Expect lots of sunshine today and through the weekend.

Saturday will be dry and mild conditions highs in the upper 60s. Sunday will feel very similar, though we’ll see a few more clouds moving in.

Clouds increase Monday as temperatures cool back into the mid to upper 50s to start the work week. A stray shower is possible Tuesday, but the bulk of the rainy weather looks more likely to arrive Wednesday.

Wet weather returns on Thursday. If you’ll be traveling through the Cascades later in the week, be prepared for changing conditions as cooler air brings a chance for mountain snow.

Take advantage of the sunshine this weekend! It’s a great opportunity to get outside, whether that’s hiking, yard work, or making outdoor plans.
