OHA seeks members for new Behavioral Health Crisis System Advisory Committee
SALEM, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is seeking members to inform policy and program decisions on a new Behavioral Health Crisis System Advisory Committee, which will begin meeting this winter.
Created through House Bill 2757 (2023), the committee will advise OHA on:
- Implementation and operation of the statewide coordinated crisis system, and
- Feedback and recommendations on the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in Oregon.
OHA is accepting applications now through Friday, Dec. 8, 2023, for two seats on the committee:
- Certified Peer Support Specialist, as defined in ORS 414.025
- Consumer of youth & family behavioral health services
Committee members may be eligible for a $166.00 stipend for each day of work on the committee.
