Quiet and mild week ahead

The region is going to see the mercury in the thermometer rise into the 70s most of the week with little chance of showers.   The normal high temperature for this time of year is around the middle 60s so, once again, we are above normal.  The skies will be mostly sunny Tuesday, and the winds will be on the breezy side with gusts near 15 – 20 mph. Highs top out in the low 70s.

Wednesday will be partly cloudy with slightly warmer with the temps reaching the upper 70s. Winds will be noticeable but not overwhelming and there may be a slight chance of a shower over the Cascades, but very low chance.

Thursday brings in the sunshine once again and we see much cooler air than Wednesday, but still above normal. Highs reach the low 70s.

Warming up to end the work week and heading into the weekend. Highs will top out in the low 80s both Friday and Saturday.  A dry cold front passes through the region Saturday night and cools us down for Sunday. Highs are only expected to reach the middle 60s.
