February feeling more like spring

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - A ridge of high pressure over the Western US is bringing warmer than normal temperatures this week.
Expect a chilly start this morning with a chance for patchy fog to develop in some areas.
An Air Quality Alert is in effect today due to light winds across the region. These calm conditions can trap pollutants, such as smoke, and lead to poorer air quality.
Wednesday will be the warmest day of the period, with highs climbing into the upper 50s to low 60s under mostly sunny skies.
Spring-like warmth continues Thursday and Friday as temperatures reach the 60s again. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, whether that’s a walk around the neighborhood or lunch outside.
While the dry pattern hasn’t been ideal for the resorts, a pattern change arrives this weekend.
Expect dry conditions Saturday with an increase in cloud cover. Moisture moves into the Pacific Northwest on Sunday, bringing chances for rain and mountain snow.
Temperatures cool slightly over the weekend, with highs in the low to mid 50s.
Cooler air settles in by Monday, with highs dropping back into the mid 40s. That is what we typically see for early February.
