The Redmond School District Board of Directors is seeking qualified applicants for a vacancy on the board.

The position will replace Ron Munkres, who resigned from the board of directors on November 4. The incoming member will serve from January 1, 2015 through to June 30, 2015. The new member will have the opportunity to run for the remaining two years of Munkres’ term during the May election.

A person is eligible to serve as a board member if he or she is a registered voter of the district and has been a resident within the district for one year immediately preceding the election. No person who is an employee of the district is eligible to serve as a board member while so employed.

Applications are available online on the district website and in person at the District Office located at 145 SE Salmon Drive in Redmond. Applications will be accepted at the District Office until Tuesday, December 9 at 5:00 p.m. Interviews will be held on December 17.
