Spencer Sacks joined KTVZ News as a multimedia journalist in August 2025, bringing a passion for politics, investigative reporting, and storytelling that informs and empowers communities.
A graduate of The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., Spencer studied Political Science, Communications, and Economics, focusing his interests in uncovering the stories that shape public policy and impact local communities. During his time in D.C., he interned with NBC News on the White House team, gaining firsthand experience covering national politics and the workings of government. This experience further fueled his drive to dig beneath the headlines and uncover the stories that truly matter.
Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Spencer brings a sharp eye for detail and a relentless curiosity to Central Oregon’s news scene. Whether he's tracking local government developments or diving into investigations, Spencer is driven by a commitment to giving a voice to the community and informing the public with clarity and integrity.
A self proclaimed political junkie, Spencer thrives on breaking down complex issues so viewers can understand what’s happening in their world. When he’s not chasing leads or editing stories, he’s exploring Central Oregon’s stunning outdoors. Spencer is always searching for his next adventure or hidden trail waiting to be discovered.
