Tracee Tuesday

Multimedia Journalist / Weekend Anchor
Hey, Central Oregon!
I'm Tracee Tuesday, your multimedia journalist and weekend anchor at KTVZ News, bringing the stories that matter, with dedication and passion.
From rocking the airwaves as a radio personality on Power 94 in Central Oregon and 98.1 KISS FM’s Renel in the Morning Show in the San Francisco Bay Area, to delivering sports reports for FOX Sports 94.9 FM, and serving as the entertainment news blogger behind Tuesday Tales—I’ve covered it all, from issues affecting the community, sports highlights to celebrity buzz.
Delivering entertainment news for FOX’s KPTM in Omaha and ABC’s KGUN 9 Morning News in Tucson were highlights!
My career reflects my multifaceted passion, always eager to put you first.
Stories that matter to Central Oregon drive my work—they connect us, allow us to make informed, everyday decisions, and strengthens our community. Have a story idea that matters to you? Email me—I'm passionate about delivering the important stories that shape our community!
Off-air, I've served as a Champion Ambassador for Every Kid Sports, a Storytime Reader for Deschutes Public Library's Read Rhyme Romp program, and a Big Sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Family means everything—nothing beats quality time hanging with my brothers and sisters.
When adventure calls, count me in for whitewater rafting, horseback riding, and—my true passion—diving into astrobiology, where I previously volunteered at Chabot Space and Science Center donning an official NASA jumpsuit.
I'm also hunting down Central Oregon's tastiest spots as a total foodie.
Sports run deep—born and raised in the Bay Area where our family were die-hard Oakland Raiders, A's, and Golden State Warriors fans! With my brother John's epic encouragement, I joined his flag football team as the only girl, fueled by my track and field dominance as one of the school's fastest runners. Heart pounding and terrified yet unstoppable, I blasted past defenders with big bro blocking and clearing my path to the end zone for a game-changing touchdown!
Still, I traded cleats for pom-poms—joining the cheer squad while swinging a bat in softball.
Balancing a busy career in television and radio, I made time to pursue my cheer passion all the way to auditions for the NFL's Raiderettes, San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush, and NBA's Golden State Warriors. Though those elite squads didn't pan out, I crushed it with the USFL and indoor arena football's Oregon Storm!
As an anchor and multimedia journalist, delivering information you can use is my heartfelt calling. I wouldn’t trade it for anything—rising each morning with joy, fully immersed in work I adore, and cherishing the privilege of making it my profession. Simply unparalleled.
That's the essence of who I am—in short, captured perfectly.
If you see me out covering a story, it warms my heart when you stop by to say hey, as I will always offer a handshake and a smile.
