Multimedia Journalist / Local Alert Weather Forecaster

Jillian has aspired to work in the television news industry since elementary school. She’s thrilled to make that dream a reality in the beautiful city of Bend.

Jillian joined KTVZ News in 2023 after she made her way up the West Coast from San Diego. She is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Communication. During college, Jillian won an Emmy Award for her work as an Anchor / Reporter and Executive Producer for the student broadcast, CTTV / Newscene. Jillian also interned at Fox 5 San Diego. 

Throughout her life, Jillian has been captivated by the arts, exploring creative outlets such as theatre, dance, writing, and video production. These experiences have solidified her passion for storytelling. 

During her time at KTVZ News, Jillian has developed a love for forecasting, covering Central Oregon’s wildfires, record-breaking heat, and snowstorms. She plans to pursue further education in Meteorology.
