Hello Tri-Counties!

I am proud to say that I am from Central Oregon, growing up in La Pine.

At La Pine High School, I was a three-sport athlete, playing basketball, golf and soccer.

Following high school, I attended the University of Oregon (SCO DUCKS), where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and a Minor in Music.

Sports have always been a driving force in my life, and I’ve always considered myself an athlete at heart. I vividly remember watching sporting events with my family, dreaming that one day I’d be covering those same kinds of games. Now, I’m fortunate to produce the 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts as well as produce sports content for the platforms of KTVZ, the very channel I grew up watching. To think that I once watched the great Lee Anderson and now get to work alongside him is truly a full-circle moment.

I’ve always believed that behind every athlete is a team of people who help them succeed, whether that’s teammates, family members, or the wider community.

One of the greatest joys of sports reporting is highlighting those individuals who make athletics so special and showing how one coach, player, or teammate can change someone’s life.
