Silas Moreau

KTVZ-TV

Producer / News Contributor

Hello, Central Oregon!

My name is Silas Moreau, and I am the producer for KTVZ News at Sunrise.

I grew up in Seattle and attended O'Dea High School, where I played football all four years and served in student leadership as Mentor Group Captain during my senior year.

After graduating, I attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona, earning a Bachelor of Science in Creative Media and Film with an emphasis in independent filmmaking. During my time at NAU, I was involved with the university’s award-winning student broadcast, NAZ Today; the student-run radio station, KJACK Radio; and our film production studio, UTV Studios.

I have always been driven by a passion for storytelling, and I am thrilled to bring that passion to producing the morning show here at KTVZ. My background in film provides a unique lens for crafting meaningful stories, and I look forward to using those skills to serve Central Oregon and beyond.

When I’m not working with our wonderful Sunrise team to bring you the morning news, I enjoy listening to and playing music, watching movies, and exploring the natural beauty of this region.
