Arielle Brumfield
Sunrise Co-Anchor/Multimedia Journalist, NewsChannel 21
After joining the NewsChannel 21 team in March of 2019 as a multimedia reporter, I transitioned into my new role of Sunrise Co-Anchor in October 2020. This position gives the phrase "bright and early" a whole new meaning, but I am excited to be waking you all up each morning.
KTVZ has been such a great training ground, teaching me all aspects of this business and molding me into a well-rounded journalist, in front of the camera and behind the scenes as well.
I am originally from Los Angeles, California. So you can imagine, the weather here has taken me for quite the ride :) -- especially the winters! But Central Oregon is beautiful year-round, and for that I am grateful.
I graduated from Loyola Marymount University in the spring of 2018, double-majoring in both political science and African American studies, with a minor in journalism.
I grew up playing volleyball and running track, so I consider myself an active person, and I enjoy hiking here in Central Oregon. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, doing yoga and my "guilty pleasure" of online shopping.
I am also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists. I look forward to continuing my journey here with NewsChannel 21.
