Bend Chick-fil-A hosting ‘Cookies for Shepherd’s House fundraiser throughout January

(Update: Adding video; cookie sales in first week of January exceeded sales for all of December)

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Chick-fil-A® at Highway 97 and Robal Road in Bend is hosting a “Cookies for Shepherd’s House” fundraiser throughout the month of January, and it's going well so far.

For every Chocolate Chunk Cookie purchased, the restaurant will donate a portion of the proceeds to Shepherd’s House Ministries to support men, women and children experiencing homelessness.

You can purchase Chocolate Chunk Cookies from 6:30AM to 10PM at the Bend location.

In just the first week of January, the Bend Chick-fil-A® sold more cookies than in the entire month of December.

This is the second time the restaurant is holding a fundraiser for Shepherd’s House, and they look forward to holding more in the future.

Shepherd’s House Ministries is an organization based in Bend that dedicates their time and resources to feeding the hungry and sheltering the homeless in their community, with an aim to address issues that lead to long-term homelessness.

“This January, as we partner with Shepherd's House Ministries, our focus is on making a meaningful impact on the Bend community,” said Todd Keller, local owner-operator of Chick-fil-A in Bend. “Small gestures can make a big difference, which is why we’re inviting our guests to help us create a better tomorrow for those in need.”
