Shepherd’s House Ministries urgently seeks community donations for Good Friday Easter Dinner

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Shepherd's House Ministries said Monday it is urgently seeking donations from the Central Oregon community for its annual Good Friday Easter Dinner.

The dinner will be held on Friday, April 18th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Redmond Center, 1350 S Hwy 97, Redmond. The event will be open to everyone who wishes to attend.

Donations are critically needed by Wednesday, April 16th, to provide meals and foster community connections for those in need this Easter season. You can drop off donations at the men's shelter on Division Street or the Redmond shelter.

“We find that food and community go hand in hand together," Volunteer Manager Laurel Waring said Monday. "So the ability to give somebody a good, nourishing meal to celebrate the holiday and to bring the community together just adds another level of respect and dignity to the folks we serve. ”

Immediate Donation Needs:

  • Hams
  • Bacon
  • Cheese
  • Coconut Cream Pie
  • Lemon Meringue Pie
  • Assorted Cream Pies
  • Carrot Cake
  • Hawaiian Rolls
  • Butter

Open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM:

  • Bend: 1854 NE Division Street
  • Redmond: 1350 S Hwy 97
