Destination Rehab launches Trailblazers Adventure Group for people with neurologic conditions, mobility limitations
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – Destination Rehab said Tuesday it's thrilled to announce the launch of its newest community program, Trailblazers Adventure Group, which began this month.
This inclusive program invites individuals with neurologic conditions and mobility limitations to experience recreational adventures—such as kayaking and recumbent biking—under the guidance of licensed physical therapists. The goal is to foster community, build confidence, and make the outdoors more accessible for everyone, according to the organization; their full announcement continues below:
Two additional fall adventures are planned, and members of the media and community are warmly invited to see the program in action:
- Recumbent Biking at Dry Canyon, Redmond – Morning of Wednesday, October 8
- Advenchair Partnership at Shevlin Park, Bend – Morning of Wednesday, October 22
We’d love for you to join us and chat with participants as they experience the outdoors in new ways.
