Every Child Central Oregon receives $15,000 grant

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Every Child Central Oregon is the recipient of a $15,000 grant from the Oregon Community Recovery Fund of Oregon Community Foundation to support the My NeighbOR program in Central Oregon. 

My NeighbOR is an initiative of Every Child to provide immediate and essential tangible needs to children impacted by foster care and the families who care for them. 

My NeighbOR was launched in response to COVID19 to ensure children and families most basic needs were being met.  Local Community members can sign up to be a NeighbOR and meet needs at: www.everychildcentraloregon.org/connect

The mission of Every Child Central Oregon is: Every Child mobilizes community to uplift children and families impacted by foster care in Central Oregon.

Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) puts donated money to work in Oregon – more than $100 million in grants and scholarships support Oregonians annually. For nearly 45 years, OCF grantmaking, research, advocacy and community-advised solutions have helped individuals, families, businesses and organizations create charitable funds to improve lives for all Oregonians.

The Foundation makes grants through an application process that involves local citizens in the review and evaluation of requests for funds.
