Deschutes National Forest seeks public comment on six projects proposed by Mt. Bachelor

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Deschutes National Forest is seeking public comments on six projects proposed by Mt. Bachelor, from more Snowcat parking to power line road maintenance, "magic carpet" improvements and piping changes in a planned biomass plant.

The Bend-Fort Rock Ranger District said Friday it is initiating environmental analysis for the projects and released the "scoping letter" below.
