Dutch Bros in C. Oregon donates more than $8,400 to Boys & Girls Club of Bend, REACH Redmond
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Dutch Bros in Central Oregon donated more than $8,400 to Boys and Girls Club of Bend and REACH Redmond. The company says $1 from every drink sold on Friday, Sept. 15 was donated to help provide resources for education, extracurricular activities and more.
“Giving back to the communities we serve is one of our core beliefs. Every time we see our customers show up to support our giveback days, we see it's important to them as well.” said Katie Hutchinson, vice president of philanthropy at Dutch Bros.
Since 2011, Dutch Bros has designated one day every year to raise money for local youth organizations. Nonprofit partners were selected locally by each shop’s operator.
